Christian Pulisic, the star player of the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT), recently took a swipe at the rising trend of celebrities flocking to watch Lionel Messi’s matches, according to Outkick.com. Jokingly calling it a distraction and a lack of true support for their respective countries, Pulisic extended an invitation to those fans to attend USMNT games and celebrate the passion and talent of American soccer. We all know what this is about.

Pulisic shared a video to his Instagram that showed the likes of Will Ferrell, Leonardo DiCaprio, Selena Gomez, and Prince Harry all in attendance to catch Messi in action on Sunday. Pulisic passive aggressively expressed his frustration with the growing presence of celebrities at prestigious soccer matches, such as those featuring Lionel Messi with the caption “Let them know they’re invited to US national team games too”.
