The teaser for the upcoming Netflix documentary “FIFA Uncovered” is here and available to watch now. The film is scheduled to debut on the streaming service on November 9. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar begins in just 11 days later and this special promises to examine some of FIFA’s most scandalous incidents from the past ten years.
What fans are really interested in are the World Cup bids for 2018 and 2022 that were inextricably tarnished by corruption. The FIFA organization is referred to as a “criminal organization” and being a member is compared to being “in a secret garden” in the trailer. The DOJ initially acknowledged last year that representatives directly involved in Russia’s 2018 and Qatar’s 2022 bids bought FIFA officials’ votes.
